Beyond Visualising Language
"Beyond Visualising Language" - a scientific conference and exhibition was held in Hamburg, in one of the largest galleries in Europe, Deichtorhallen. The organizer is the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures of the University of Hamburg. At the workshop, I talked about the diversity of Georgian writing and the centuries-old calligraphic tradition. I made a calligraphic work on the spot: a Georgian translation of Goethe's poem "Erlkönig", which was accompanied by Schubert's music based on the motifs of the same poem. The purpose of this artistic presentation was to find out whether it is possible to read the feeling behind the words from a work made in an unknown and less legible script for the viewer.

Fonts of public figures
The project "Fonts of public figures" was started in 2014 by the initiative of calligrapher Niaz Diasamidze. Based on the material preserved in the Georgian National Center of Manuscripts, I created fonts based on the handwriting of a number of famous Georgian figures. Zviad Kordzadze's law office, Gepra and the Museum of Literature were also involved in the project at different times.

Handwritten Fonts Gallery
"Handwritten Fonts Gallery" is a special project of Gepra, which aims to digitize the handwriting of Georgian public figures, which will contribute to the development of Georgian writing, raising public awareness and increasing awareness of Georgian culture and its representatives. Within the framework of this project, I created a number of fonts, including Asomatruli, Nuskhuri and Mkhedruli based on historical manuscripts.
